Thanks to my friend, Melissa's, mom we had dinner for $15 tonight! She is the coupon queen and had a coupon for Texas Roadhouse that was only good through the 18th and she's in Fresno (there's only 4 locations in California and Fresno isn't one of them)! Since we live in Elk Grove, and its the only one in the Sacramento area, she thought of us! and I'm so glad she did! We had a great time! We got sooooo much food! Jordan got BBQ chicken, a baked potato, and steak fries and I got a 6 oz sirloin steak, mashed potatoes and steak fries all for only 15 bucks! Not to mention 3 baskets of free rolls that were to die for! We totally lucked out! Great food, great service and great company! (I love random Monday night dates with my husband!) We are definitely going back (even though its gonna costs us more than $15!!!)

Alma Mater
Friday night I got to attend my high school homecoming football game and watch my brother on the float. Expect not a float because they just built a new stadium with a new field and track so cars aren't allowed out there... so it looked kind of dumb...but I digress. It was fun being in the new stadium and hanging out with my mom, sister, and Cookie. Adam did a great job and has a whole heck of a lot more school spirit than I ever did. Now that he's a senior and Kayla has graduated, I probably won't attend anymore Center events... except Adam's graduation. Am I sad? Not in the slightest.
I pointed Adam out for you. I was afraid you wouldn't find him. And I was bored.

Mt Shasta
Ahh. Mountain Shasta.
(according to Corbin)
Where a man can be a man.
Such a glorious sight. We had a very relaxing/fun weekend with Jordan's family. Its so picture perfect... it looks like a fake backdrop.

looking for the silver lining...
While I fret over my hard earned tax dollars going HERE
Its comforting to know that my tithing money is going here:
This is the LDS church building on 11th and Franklin (kinda south Sac area/Sacramento Stake) that obviously got hit pretty hard by the storm Monday night/Tuesday. Its right by Mara's pre-school and I drive pass it twice a week. Its such a beautiful and unique building. I'm so happy that I have the calming knowledge from Heavenly Father and my own dad (who's over this building) that it will be taken care of quickly and we have the funds to do so. I have such a strong testimony of tithing and I see blessings from it on a daily basis.
